Steve graduated from Humboldt State University in 1993 with a B.S. in Natural Resources. His love of the outdoors led him to the field of Wilderness and Adventure Therapy programs for disadvantaged teens and families. He has worked in both long-term and short-term residential programs in California, Colorado, and for the past 21 years here in Central Virginia. He enjoys camping, hiking and kayaking in the mountains and rivers of the Blue Ridge. He loves to travel and experience the culture and cuisine of different locales. He also likes to attend outdoor music and arts festivals as well as sporting events.
